Nives.Completati gli studi, consegue il diploma di stilista e dal 1983 vive
e lavora a Pavia. Apre un suo laboratorio dedicandosi inizialmente alla
pittura su stoffa per arredamento. Frequenta negli anni '80 la Civica Scuola
di pittura di Pavia e nell' '85 è tra i Soci Fondatori dell'Associazione Arti Visive "Marabelli". Espone i suoi dipinti in alcune mostre collettive, tra le quali, nell' '85 al castello di Sartirana e nell' '87 presso la sala dell'Annunciata in Pavia. Negli anni 90 si avvicina al mondo del vetro realizzando vetrate per arredamento interno e complementi d'arredo. Dal 91 approfon- disce e studia le tecniche della vetrofusione e della lavorazione a caldo del vetro, studiando con vari artisti: nel '92 con Jorg Kleiner (Svizzera) e dal '94 con Miriam Di Fiore (Italo-Argentina) della quale è stata allieva per diversi anni. Nel 2000 fa la sua prima esperienza in fornace con l'artista Tom Rowney (Australia) presso la Creative Glass Scool - Zurigo. Nel 1999 e 2000 le sue opere vengono selezionate nel Primo e Secondo Salone Internazionale del Vetro - Mar de Plata - Argentina. Nell'estate del 2001 è assistente di Miriam Di Fiore.Nel novembre 2001 completa le vetrate della facciata della chiesa del SS Crocefisso in Pavia. In questo lavoro, da lei interamente progettato e realizzato, inserisce le tecniche da lei approfondite negli anni: vetrofusione, murrine, light-painting e vetro soffiato. Nel 2002 completa il lavoro realizzando le vetrate interne della stessa chiesa, a lato dell'altare.Nel 2002 espone le sue opere presso la Galleria Regina - Murano (Ve). Lo studio iniziale del disegno e della pittura, l'approfondimento di tecniche avanzate di fusione, light painting e lavorazione del vetro caldo,si fondono e sono alla base della capacità tecnica e espressiva che Nives esprime in modo armonico e delicato. |

MARCASSOLI Nives. After finished the study, she achieved the sylist diploma and, since 1983 she is living and working in Pavia. Opening an own laboratory, Nives initially devoted oneself to the painting on fabric, for furniture. In the eighties she attended the Civic School for Painting of Pane and in 1985 becames one of the founding members of the Association "Visual Arts" Marabelli. Nives exhibited the own paintings in some group exhibitions, among them mentioning places like Castello di Sartirana in '85 and the Sala dell'Annunciata in Pavia. In the nineties Nives approached to the glass world, realising stained glass works for inner furnishings and for furniture complements. Since 1991 she is studying the glass fusing and hot work techniques in depth, learning from artists as Jorg Kleiner (Switzerland) in 1992 and Miriam di Fiore (Argentina) in 1994, whose student becamed then, for some years. In 2000 Nives had hers first furnace experience with Tom Rowney (Australia) at the Creative Glass Scool - Zurigo. In the years 1999 and 2000 her works have been selected for the First and for the Second International Glass Salon of Mar del Plata (Argentina). In the summer of 2001 Nives was present as teaching assistant of the artist Miriam di Fiore, to the First International Glass Fusing Workshop in Venice. In November 2001 Nives finished the stained glass window from the façade of the S.S. Crociffisso's Church in Pavia. This work, entirely designed and realized by Nives, is the conclusion of the techniques, during the years thoroughtly studied and applied by her: glass fusing, murrina, light-painting and blown glass. In 2002 realized for it - concluding the project initiated in 2001 - the inner stained glass windows by the altar's side. In 2002 esposes her works in Regina Gallery-Murano. The initial study of design and painting, the deep study and application of the advanced fusing techniques, light-painting and hot work merged together, being the base of the technical expressive capability which Nives expresses in an harmonious and sensitive manner. |
